Easy puzzles use single candidates. Medium adds numbers that have only one possible place in a row, column or box. Hard also uses candidate elimination, such as locked candidates and naked pairs. All three levels are solvable without guessing.
Yes, when browser storage is available. Your current puzzle, notes, undo history and preferences save on this device. Return in the same browser to continue. Clearing browser data removes the save; it is not synced to your account or other devices.
The gold square is your selection. Soft green shows its row, column and box; matching numbers receive a stronger highlight. A red number with a small marker means it repeats in a group. You can turn conflict highlighting off in Settings.
Yes. Arrow keys move between squares; 1–9 enter a number; Backspace or Delete erases; N toggles notes; Ctrl or Command + Z undoes, and Shift + Ctrl or Command + Z redoes. Tab moves between the board and controls.
